P. Diddy Loves ‘Cats’ ?
There’s a new playa rumored in the possible sale of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s empire: Sean “P. Diddy” Combs.
The media has rumored Clear Channel, AEG and Robert F.X. Sillerman as potential buyers, although Webber’s people will only confirm that there has been “an enquiry” into some parts of the Broadway mogul’s business.
Webber’s Really Useful Group owns “Cats,” “Phantom of the Opera” and other properties. Combs’ Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment refused to comment.
The New York Daily News estimated Really Useful would go for well above $900 million.
